The Aged Care Act 2024 will now commence on 1 November 2025, giving aged care providers extra time to prepare for major reforms. These changes will affect all areas of service delivery, governance, client communication, and digital operations. The delay allows providers to complete training, system upgrades, and operational reviews before the new requirements take effect.
