Provider Institute Best Practice Tip

When releasing the updated policy and procedures for staff, it can be helpful to coordinate a team meeting/briefing to explain the changes and provide them the opportunity to ask questions about the expectations, requirements and their role and responsibilities. Even a 15 minute catch-up could save confusion that may end up costing even more time to fix / explain! Also remember to document the attendance, information that was discussed, and obtain signatures from staff so you can demonstrate how you have communicated and explained policy and procedure updates.
